e-Apostille: Which Offices Issue Them
e-Apostille explained: which apostille offices issue electronic apostilles as PDF, which still issue only paper, and what to ask before choosing one.
An e-Apostille is an apostille issued electronically, usually as a PDF, instead of a certificate attached to a paper document. Whether one is available depends entirely on the issuing office.
Offices that issue them
Kentucky issues the e-Apostille in PDF format and sends it by email. Utah offers digital apostilles, also known as e-Apostilles. In the United Kingdom, applicants can apply online for a paper-based apostille or an e-Apostille. New Zealand describes its e-apostille as a secure PDF that is emailed to the applicant.
Not every office does. Arizona states plainly that it does not issue electronic apostilles; there, the apostille remains a paper certificate.
What to check for Türkiye
An electronic apostille is only useful if the Turkish office that receives your file accepts it. Ask that office before you choose the electronic form.
